MGF has worked on 5 continents in nearly 40 countries, developing customized solutions to critical finance and development issues. Our work spans nearly all of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Current project and recent highlights include:
RENEWABLE ENERGY TRANSFORMATION 
MGF is currently advising the Government of Tonga on a strategy to procure renewable energy to meet its target of 70% renewable energy by 2030. MGF is working with Tonga Power Limited to develop the optimum timeline and procurement strategy to improve tariffs, promote grid stability, and rapidly replace fossil fuels on the island nation. This project is sponsored by the Asian Development Bank.
INVESTMENT DUE DILIGENCE 
MGF completed a due diligence on an investment in an aquaculture company for a private client. MGF carried out corporate, financial, and market due diligence in support of the investment.
INNOVATIVE FINANCIAL STRUCTURING 
MGF works with the Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance (The Lab), providing advisor services, analysis, and structuring for innovative financial instruments supporting climate finance. To-date, MGF has advised on a solar securitization instrument for Rwanda, and climate adaptation debt facility for Southern Africa.
